What is your rate?

Our rates are very reasonable for a professional wedding DJ service. We do a lot more than “just play music.” However, in order to furnish you withan exact quote, since there are so many variables, (e.g. venue, travel distance, loading/unloading, total time, number of setups, additional speakers, ceremony, lighting, etc.), we need to know all the details about how you envision your special day!

Please call us and we can acquire the necessary information, explain what we do, as well as offer some suggestions to you if needed. We’ll be happy to answer any questions, as well as furnish you with a no-obligation quote. Be extremely cautious if you get a quote from someone who doesn’t need or want to know your details. Remember, this is the most important day of your life! Don’t trust it to an amateur!

How far in advance should we book you?

Although most wedding planners typically say to book your DJ six months prior to your wedding, DJ Dennis Entertainment often reserves dates up to two years in advance. Traditionally, 9 to 12 months in advance is ample. However, we recommend that you book early to reserve your date. We do require a signed contract and a deposit to lock in your date and rate.

So don’t delay — book today!

We are planning to have our ceremony where our reception is. Can you help us?

Yes! Today, many of our brides choose to have an outdoor ceremony or to hold their ceremony right where the reception is being held. No problem! We have the experience, all the necessary equipment, and appropriate music to fulfill your dreams. Just ask us for further information.

Will you play music during cocktail/dinner hours?

Yes. We will play music that is appropriate and appealing to you and your guests and it will be played at a level that is comfortable so that you can engage in conversation without having to shout, while listening to your favorites!

What kind of music will you play?

We’ll play what you want to hear! We boast all the top hits from 1945 to what’s hot this month in our computer-organized music library, and we upgrade it every month with the latest hits! Whether it’s a wedding or a sweet 16 birthday party, we will play the music that is appropriate for your individual event. You will hear what you and your guests like and we will do our best to play music that will be entertaining and, more importantly, danceable! We take pride in our business and are sure you will agree.

How will the DJ be dressed?

We will dress appropriately according to the type of event. If it’s a formal or even semi formal event, such as a wedding, anniversary, corporate function, etc. we will be dressed in formal attire (tuxedos). As for casual events, we will be dressed neatly, yet casually.

Will I be able to speak with the DJ prior to my reception/event?

Yes. DJ Dennis Entertainment feels that in order to make your event a success, we need to personalize your event. That is why we offer free bridal consultations well before your wedding day. That way, we are able to assist you with your questions, music selections, special dances, and all the necessary introductions. We will sit with you as many times as necessary to make you feel comfortable with your event’s planning.

What kind of equipment do you use?

We’ve gone digital! With a custom built computer for perfect sound, we have a huge music library at our fingertips so that your requests are up in just seconds! Plus, we carry CDs for backup, so we are always prepared!

Additionally, we use all professional DJ equipment including top names such as Mackie, Chauvet, Pioneer, and Shure, to assure a crisp, clear sound. All of our equipment is encased and professionally wired to look as good as it sounds.

What time will you show up at my event?

We will be at the venue at least 1 to 2 hours prior to your event so that we will be completely set up and prepared before you and your guests arrive. We will be in touch with your venue for actual set-up times. Again we believe in being prepared so we would rather be early and allow for any unforeseen circumstances to ensure your event is a success!

Do you take requests?

Yes. Keep in mind, if we only took requests we would sound similar to a radio station request hour. In other words, we will do our best to accommodate requests and incorporate them in a way that will enhance your event with the end result being a great party and many pleased guests.

Will the DJ be singing?

No. We are a professional DJ service that will play strictly pre-recorded music.

How many breaks do you take?

None. From the time your guests start arriving until the party is over, our job is non-stop. Our music is never interrupted.
